With eight locations opening across New Mexico, they made the bold move to rebrand everything under a new name: Leaf & Flower. The challenge? We built the Leaf & Flower brand from the ground up, starting with high-visibility print ads in their local paper to introduce the new name to the community. From there, we tapped into their already engaged customer base through email and text marketing, refreshing the visual identity and boosting brand consistency across every message. This unified approach led to stronger recognition in a saturated market and improved customer retention. We also expanded their reach on Weedmaps, launching targeted ads and weekly deal promotions. As a result, Leaf & Flower saw a noticeable increase in local traffic, higher deal engagement rates, and improved store visibility, especially in areas with heavy competition.

Leaf & Flower was not a legacy name in the cannabis space, yet it was about to become the new face of a multi-location operation across New Mexico. The owners, Patti and Franci, had successfully run a well-known dispensary under a different name for three years. This transition wasn’t just a name change. It was a complete brand refresh during a major expansion. With eight stores set to open across various New Mexico markets, they needed a cohesive identity that would resonate with existing customers, attract new ones, and deliver a consistent experience no matter the location.
Adding to the complexity, the brand was launching into a highly competitive market. From urban hubs to smaller towns, each store would need localized relevance while still reflecting the overarching Leaf & Flower brand. The challenge was to build trust in a brand that was technically “new,” while carrying forward the operational excellence and customer loyalty already earned under the former name.

Brand Refresh: We expanded the existing color palette with complementary tones to bring more versatility and depth to the brand. We also established a set of key fonts to ensure visual consistency across all print and digital assets, creating a cohesive and recognizable identity for Leaf & Flower.
